2013 Cornhusker Fly Fishers Christmas Party!

Join the Cornhusker fly fishers for our great Christmas party potluck! This party will be the last meeting of 2013 and will be a great time to find out what's planned for 2014. The party is FREE to members of the club but anyone is welcome to join in as long as you bring a food item!

A lot of questions have been asked about what to bring to the party (food/gifts). Please keep gifts limited to $10 and be fly fishing related. For food items, please refer to the list below.

Where: Ak Sar Ben Aquarium

When: Wednesday, December 18th, 2013; 6:30pm - 8:30pm

What to bring: Food for potluck & $10 (max) gift exchange.

If your last name begins with:

A - J: please bring a main dish

L - S: please bring a side dish

T - Z: please bring a desert

Learn to tie with the Cornhusker Fly Fishers

Did you know that the Cornhusker Fly Fishers offer two locations for fly tying? If you are new to fly tying we would love to show you how to tie some of our favorite flies for catching fish locally or anywhere in the world. Know of a great pattern you'd like to share? We'd love to see it! Stop in to chat, learn about the club, or to see what's on the vise.

For those closest to Omaha, fly tying is held at Cabelas in La Vista every Thursday from 6pm to 8:00pm in the fly shop.

For those closest to Lincoln, fly tying is held on the third Thursday of every month at the Charles H. Gere branch library from 6pm to 7:45pm.
