Rescheduling the Board Meeting

The Executive Board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, 2014 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, December 3, 2014.  The meeting will still be held at 6:00 pm at Round the Bend Steakhouse.

November Club Meeting

The club will hold its regular monthly club meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:30) at Aksarben Aquarium, Schramm State Park.  We will be holding our annual election and voting for 2015 Executive Board Members.  After the ballots are cast, we will welcome our guest speaker from Gavin's Point National Fish Hatchery.  There has been a slight correction to the program and the Army Corp of Engineers is sending Mr. Craig Bockholt to give us a presentation on the hatchery.  We still have some raffle tickets available for the wading staff, but we are hoping to draw for them soon, so please get your ticket(s) if you haven't already.  We have an exciting evening planned, so please brave the cold and join us for the fun.

Fall Bluegills

Look at what is still biting this fall!  This beautiful 9" bluegill was caught by Joe Smith on Tuesday, October 4.  He reported that he caught 7 others in about an hour of fishing.  The fishing this fall continues to be fine, so please grab your rod and fly box and head out for time on your favorite water.
