CFF Fish-In at Holmes Lake this Saturday!!!
The Game & Parks Commission has stocked rainbow trout just in time for the Cornhusker Fly Fishers Fish-In this Saturday (the 24th) at Holmes Lake in Lincoln. We'll be meeting at 1:00 PM at the northern part of the lake (we'll put our yellow signs out to direct you). Bring your own snacks. Also bring some small woolly buggers, hare's ears, copper johns, and your egg flies to catch some pan sized rainbow trout!

October Meeting and Fly of the Month
Our October meeting is next Wednesday the 21st at the Aksarben Aquarium. Doors open at 6:30, meeting starts at 7. Stop by early to practice your casting or just chat with members about recent fishing success!
Our October Fly of the Month is the Girdle Bug. This is a simple stonefly nymph that's a breeze to tie and catches fish like crazy. Instructions to tie this pattern here.
