Our July meeting will be a Family Fish Out at Platte River State Park - Jenny Newman Pond. Directions Here. The pond is catch and release for all species of fish and has great shoreline access. We'll have anglers there after 6pm, but you are on your own for dinner. We'll still have our Fly of the Month competition (Deer Hair Bass Bug). Hope to see you there!
July is also Carpfest Month!!! Carpfest is our yearly celebration of
the world's favorite game fish, the common carp! We'll have a potluck
dinner at Oak Lake in Lincoln at 4pm on Saturday the 20th. The club will be serving some fried carp and bbq, so please feel free to bring a dessert or side dish to share.
