Healing Saturday With Project Healing Waters

 
November 2nd 2019, Project Healing Waters will be co-hosting "Healing Saturday" sponsored by Backwoods. The event is free to the public. There will be tables setup for fly tying, rod building and casting competitions. Backwoods will be having specials on this day for all participants. Complimentary grillings, condiments & beverages will be served so bring the whole family and help our disabled veterans! Project Healing Waters will be accepting donations for upcoming events and the Great Plains Bone fish tournament. This event will run from 10am-3pm at the shop. Help to support this 501 C 3 organization, whose sole purpose is to help heal our veterans wounds through fly fishing.

October Club Events

Our October 16th meeting will be at  the newly renovated Schramm Education Center at Schramm Park (Directions Here).

Doors open at 6:30 and we'll start the meeting at 7.  Our program this month is Fly Fishing with the UNL Fly Fishing Club with Matt Long and Eric Einspahr!

We have our annual Rainbow Trout Club Fish-Out October 19th at Holmes Lake in Lincoln! It will be stocked with trout that will be hungry for a fly! Hope to see you there!
