CFF March Events

It's early March 2017 and the ice is already off all the Omaha and Lincoln area lakes!!!

Our monthly club meeting is Wednesday March 15th at the Aksarben Aquarium.  Doors open at 6:30 and the meeting starts at 7.

This month's featured presentation is our club president elect, Larry Dostal.  He'll be discussing the timely topic of Northern Pike and Musky on the Fly!  Larry will touch on Esox biology, gear, flies, tactics, and where to find these toothy apex predators!

Our fly of the month is the iconic and influential Deceiver.  (Great early season pike fly by the way...) Check out our Fly of the Month tab for tying instructions and bring your best rendition to the meeting.  There will be great raffle prizes and lots of fish talk, we hope to see you there!!!






Don't forget about our annual Spring Fling coming up April 22nd!  It's going to be a great time with George Daniel as our keynote speaker!



We also have four Project Healing Waters tying events this month, please consider volunteering some time to help out our nations veterans enjoy this great hobby.
